In Gelände unterwegs zu sein, für das das Rad bzw. die Radgattung eigentlich (hoffnungslos) unterdimensioniert ist. Quasi die Gegenbewegung zum vollaufmunitionierten E-Bike-Panzerfahrer auf Radwegen und vorm Edeka.

Aber der Preis ist schon ein bisschen „oversized“ um mal beim denglischen zu bleiben. Oder bin ich da der einzige, der sowas denkt?

Guck dir mal Cannondales mit Fatty an. Die hatten bspw. auch kein waagerechtes Oberrohr.

Apropos Cannondale: Das F-Si Throwback war richtig gut.

Meine Stumpy's sind von 1994 und 95 und haben abfallendes Oberrohr. Nur die ganz frühen Stahlbikes haben ein waagerechtes, später dann aber auch nicht mehr.

Richtig retro für Radsport Arnold wäre ein Alubomber mit XT für 1600 DM. Bezahlbar mit der Hartgeldsammlung die man beim Oppa gefunden hat.
