Felice Branca mechanic to the team Filotex and Franco Bitossi "cuore matto - crazy heart" (due to a cardiac arrhythmia which often compelled him to stop midway in a stage) (171 wins in 16 years)
missed the near victory at the World Championship in Gap, France, where he was beaten by only a few meters by his teammate Marino Basso.


Branca had frames made (in chornological order) by Volta & his brother in law, Giuseppe Pino Pelà, Losa and maybe someoneelse even later
