Pierfranco Vianelli (*20.10.1946 a Brescia)
Ex ciclista su strada italiano. Professionista dal 1969 al 1973.
He won a gold medal at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, in the Individual Road Race.
The course, just short of 25 kilometres, was covered 8 times for a total distance of 196.2 kilometres.[1] The event was won by Pierfranco Vianelli of Italy, the nation's second consecutive victory in the men's individual road race (putting Italy over France in most gold medals, three to two). It was the fourth consecutive Games that an Italian cyclist finished first or second.
His later commercialized Vianneli frames are (either) build/brazed by il vulcano Piero Serena di Brescia
(or Giorgio Ferremi di Brescia too)
