Nachdem Mathieu van der Poel zwei Teenagerinnen in seinem Hotel angegangen war, verhängte jetzt ein australisches Gericht eine Geldstrafe in Höhe von umgerechnet rund 1.000 Euro gegen den Radstar [Update des Artikels am 26.09.2022, 08:30 Uhr].

Man kann übrigens auf dem Video sehen, dass die junge "Dame" mit aller Kraft und zwei Armen vor die Tür bollert, bevor sie weg rennt.

And then there appeared to be images. Three videos. One short and unclear, the other longer and revealing. They clarify much of what happened last Saturday night in the hallway of the Novotel. This site had contact with the eldest of the three teenage girls and viewed the images they had made themselves', writes Zonneveld on the AD website . By the way, the girls posted the videos themselves on the internet . They are from another part of Australia and were on holiday in Sydney.

The video shows that the girls knock on Van der Poel's door, after which the Dutchman immediately opens his door and goes after it in his boxer shorts. The images are unclear, but it can be seen that he jumps over the bed and is clearly not happy with the incident. The video then stops abruptly.

There is also footage of an altercation between Van der Poel and the three girls, Zonneveld describes. 'You can hear Van der Poel saying to the girls: this is a game for you, but I have an important game tomorrow. He also tells the parents that it is not the first time that the girls have knocked on the door: that afternoon and earlier in the evening they also did it. He gets a lot of swear words in response.' Then follows the accusation that he dealt a blow, after which the following discussion unfolds, according to Zonneveld.

Van der Poel tells the parents that he has not touched anyone, to which a female voice responds with: 'Shut up, it's on camera'. Van der Poel responds by saying that they should show it, the woman responds again by saying that she is not allowed to come into her room. The Dutchman then states that they are not allowed to knock on his room for three hours, after which the woman indicates that he has threatened them and that the police are on their way.

According to Zonneveld, the girls and the parents are 'mainly angry' at Van der Poel. They think he got off too easily with a fine , after they also showed the footage to the police. The management of Van der Poel has also seen the images, but does not wish to respond at the moment, Zonneveld writes on behalf of the AD .

Es gibt auch Filmmaterial von einer Auseinandersetzung zwischen Van der Poel und den drei Mädchen, beschreibt Zonneveld. Man kann hören, wie Van der Poel zu den Mädchen sagt: "Das ist ein Spiel für euch, aber ich habe morgen ein wichtiges Spiel. Er erzählt den Eltern auch, dass die Mädchen nicht zum ersten Mal an die Tür geklopft haben: an diesem Nachmittag und früher am Abend haben sie es auch getan. Daraufhin bekommt er eine Menge Schimpfwörter zu hören. Dann folgt der Vorwurf, er habe einen Schlag versetzt, woraufhin sich die folgende Diskussion entwickelt, so Zonneveld.

Aber trotz allem - Nachrennen und umstoßen oder packen hätte er nicht machen dürfen. Bei allem Verständnis für die bereits arg gekürzte Zündschnur.

Aber - sieht er ja mittlerweile selbst so. Von daher ist das Thema eigentlich durch.

Die Moral der Geschichte ist für mich weniger MVDP‘s Ausklinken, sondern mehr die Tatsache dass bei Anstand, Respekt und Einsicht viel zu häufig völlig Fehlanzeige herrscht. Fälle von Terror durch die lieben Kinderchen, denen zu viel ohne Konsequenzen durchgeht genauso wie von erwachsenen narzisstischen Spacken, die glauben allein auf der Welt zu sein, kennt vermutlich jeder zur Genüge.

Korrekt. Das sind Pubertiere und die haben jemanden zum Provozieren gesucht - und ein sehr dankbares Opfer gefunden. In so einem Fall hilft nur selber ignorieren und wenn es nicht aufhört Rezeption oder stärkere Geschütze holen.

Bei den verwackelten Bildern wäre ich als Laie nicht einmal sicher, ob das ein durchgehend aufgenommenes Video ist oder Schnipsel eines längeren Videos, die hier zusammengefügt wurden. Die anderen Videos habe ich noch nicht gesehen; ich hoffe mal, dass die aufschlussreicher sind.

Wenn die das bspw. einfach auf TikTok hochladen, braucht es keine Eltern zur Veröffentlichung.

Zum Hochladen nicht, aber wenn eine Zeitung das Video für eigene Beiträge nutzt, brauchen sie die Zustimmung vom Rechteinhaber.

Man weiß nicht ob das Rennen wirklich anders gelaufen wäre.
